Charlie started in the property industry at the age of 22 many moons ago and loves it as much today as the day he started. Charlie is a Scarborough boy born and bred, passionate about this wonderful part of the world.
Charlie is the managing director of the company and takes responsibility for the majority of valuations. Outside of work Charlie loves to spend time with his family and maintaining his old VW camper van.
Sue has a background in accounts with experience in various sectors including the registered charity of Helmsley Walled Garden, engineering and manufacturing, design and interiors and estate agency.
Sue provides back office support with accounts and administration. She too is passionate about Scarborough and Ryedale and loves showing people what an incredible corner of Yorkshire we live in. When not at Tipple Underwood Sue is involved in local charities and volunteer gardening in the community
Senior Sales Negotiator
Lauren has a varied background previously working in insurance and photography. She has been with Tipple Underwood since they opened in 2014 and bought her first house from us a year later.
Lauren is responsible for conducting the majority of the viewings and negotiating on sales. She also assists Charlie in photographing properties that are coming on the market with us. Outside of work Lauren is kept busy with her young daughter and two gorgeous Border Collies.
Lucy has a varied background previously working in the marketing and hospitality sectors. Lucy also spent a year working and travelling abroad but returned to Scarborough where she grew up. Lucy bought her first home with Tipple Underwood and has a good understand first-hand of how the buying process works.
At Tipple Underwood Lucy is responsible for meetings and greeting customers at viewings and negotiations of sales. Lucy also manages the social media and online marketing. Outside of work Lucy enjoying going on holiday or paddle boarding around our beautiful coast.
Rosie comes from a hospitality background where she knew that customer service was her strength. She started at Tipple Underwood on a business administration apprenticeship and on completion was asked to take the permanent role as lettings coordinator, which she is today. Her main responsibilities include creating contracts, dealing with maintenance issues and routine property checks.
Rosie’s friendly manner has helped her build strong relationships with all our landlords and tenants. Rosie also helps with office duties for the sales team. On a weekend Rosie enjoys cooking, especially Sunday roasts for friends and family.
